Vinyl Overlap Nosing for 10-12 mm flooring
The main purpose of a nosing is to improve the safety of the staircase.
Overlap stair nose creates a transition to the edge of your step where the flooring meets the transition by overlapping the flooring on the back end instead of being flush.

Thick Overlap Nosing ideally fits the flooring with 10-12 mm thicknesses.
Nature Prints coordinating overlap nosings are good to be installed for vinyl, laminate and sometimes for wood flooring.

Overlap Nosing should overlap the flooring by 1/4 to 3/8 inch, leaving the balance for required expansion or contraction.
To attach the molding, apply a generous bead of construction adhesive along the underside of the stair nose.
Carefully put stair nose into place against the front of the step.
Press down firmly over the entire stair nose and let the adhesive cure according to directions.
