Vinyl T-Mouldings

Vinyl T-Mouldings are used to create smooth transitions between two flooring surfaces of approximately equal heights.
“T” shape transitions also provide expansion joints when a floor dimension exceeds the length or width of 40 ft.

Vinyl T- Moulding

For any 4-8 mm thick flooring. You may need 3-4 mm thick shim to stick it to subfloor if you use it for 10-12 mm flooring. Nature Prints coordinating vinyl mouldings are good to be installed for vinyl, laminate and sometimes for wood flooring.

Length: 2400 mm

Wide: 45 mm

Height: 7 mm

100% waterproof.
No buckling or bowing from water spills or moisture issues.

As a rule the laminate transition should be directly under the door when the door is closed. Leave one inch gap between two floors that you plan to combine.
Allow the floating floor to move freely, never fasten the transition pieces to the flooring. You can install transitions by using tracks or without them.
Tracks or U shape channels are designed to snap transitions in and prevent the adhesive under transitions to stick together two sides of floorings.
Always make sure to keep a 1/4″ expansion zone around the transition piece, especially if you don’t use tracks. Because most tracks come in plastic we recommend applying the construction grade glue both under and into track channel to avoid getting the loose transitions.
Place a few heavy objects on the moulding overnight to ensure that it does not move while the glue dries.
